Following a gap of fourteen years, Ben Stiller (Meet the Parents, Night at the Museum trilogy), and his longtime comedy companion Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers, Midnight in Paris) are back as male models Derek Zoolander and Hansel in the upcoming sequel to their 2001 hit Zoolander.
The follow-up, aptly-entitled 2oolander, has premiered its official trailer online.
Directed by Stiller himself, the films sees Zoolander and Hansel being approached by a sexy secret agent about helping her track down a group that are killing off beautiful people which include singers Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
Oscar-winner Penelope Cruz (Vicky Christina Barcelona, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) plays Agent Montana Grosso with versatile support coming from other Zoolander newbies including Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Imitation Game), Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, The Martian) and Olivia Munn (The Newsroom, X-Men: Apocalypse).
Will Ferrell (Elf, Blades of Glory) reprises his role as the villainous Mugatu from the original film with Stiller’s wife Christine Taylor (The Wedding Singer, Dodgeball) and Billy Zane (Dead Calm, Titanic) also back.
2oolander will be released in cinemas next February.
