James Corden voices a mischievous Peter Rabbit in official trailer for Peter Rabbit

Over a century ago, author Beatrix Potter wrote her much-loved novel The Tale of Peter Rabbit which centered on the adventures of Peter Rabbit and his animal friends.

The beloved characters have now been brought to life in a new live-action film which features a solid cast led by British comedian / presenter James Corden (Gavin and Stacey, The Tonight Show).

Simply entitled Peter Rabbit, the family adventure has premiered its official trailer.

Directed by Will Gluck (Friends with Benefits, Annie), the plot sees Peter (Corden) and his friends go up against their human counterpart Mr McGregor. However Peter’s feud with McGregor escalates further when they find themselves competing for the affections of their new neighbour Bea.

Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter series, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) plays McGregor with Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, Spy) co-starring as Bea.

Meanwhile, Corden is joined in the vocal cast by lovely actresses Daisy Ridley (Murder on the Orient Express, Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Margot Robbie (The Legend of Tarzan, Suicide Squad) and Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2) plus the experienced Sam Neill (Jurassic Park, Hunt for the Wilderpeople) is also on board.

Peter Rabbit will be released in the UK on March 16th 2018.
